Principalities of Monaco with a boat trip through the port

Our tour begins in the most prestigious quarter of Monte Carlo, where the most expensive hotels and restaurants of the Riviera are located. We will walk through the chic, golden square with the pompous Casino and the Hotel de Paris. See the famous Café de Paris and the three Michelin-starred Louis XV restaurant helmed by one of France's top chefs, Alain Ducasse. We will admire the Opera building designed by Charles Garnier in 1870 where the famous Russian dancers of the Diaghilev Ballet performed.

We'll ascend to the observation deck for the best panoramic views of the city. Then we'll go down to the port and take a ride on a small boat to the opposite shore of the port (fare included in the tour price). The abundance of expensive yachts will amaze you and the light sea breeze will refresh you before the second part of the tour.

In the Kondamin area, we will visit the vibrant market square and covered market where there will be an opportunity to sample the traditional Monegasque dish of Barbajoine (extra 2 euros).

To get to know the history of Monaco better, we will go up to the Old Town and stroll through its narrow streets. In the main square we will see the Prince's palace and hear some fun facts about Monaco's army. I'll also tell you about the oldest European Grimaldi dynasty that reigns in Monaco. Afterwards, we'll take a look at the main Catholic cathedral, which serves as the tomb of the Princes of Monaco. The most beautiful views of the sea will open to us from the Saint Martin's Gardens. Then we'll walk out to the majestic Oceanographic Museum, built into the rock. This museum is the pride of its founder, Prince Albert I of Monaco. You can visit the museum at the end of the tour (extra charge).
